DATE:5/18/08 TIME:1:00 pm PLACE: Station Building ACTIVTY DESCRIPTION: I want you to stand exactly 15" from the image (which will be tacked to the wall) and stare - intently, if not worshipfuly - at the image for 15 minutes. Only blink your eyes when absoluetly necessary and do not move any part of your body. I want you to carfeully analyze this image. I want to learn if it has meaning for you/ for us or if it is, in fact, yet another image-commodity: meaningless. I want to if the image has significance originally (when you first gaze at it) and if that meaning disipates upon length contact. I want to know what that meaning is (or isn't). You will takes notes during this 15 minute period, describing your anlysis, but like a blind contour drwaing or psychologist worthy of the name, your gaze must reamin focused on the doctor/image.
